Good Morning... I am looking for a site to download movies (free or pay doesn't matter) for my Droid 2. It's primarily for my 4-year-old son to keep him occupied on long car drives, etc. so cartoons and kid-friendly things are what I am most interested in. I know there is HULU but is that Droid friendly? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Randy

Get a Slingbox and the Slingplayer app from the app market. You can watch the same chanells you have at home on any computer, anywhere in the world, as long as you have internet connection, for the phone though you need the app.

Careful guys! ;) This is borderline not acceptable on this site.

As to Hulu, you can look up an app called Droidlu to watch, otherwise you have to be a part of Hulu+ to use the official app.

You can also rent movies from the Android Market. Of course there is still always YouTube! If I can think of anything else, I'll be sure to post! :)

Is it bad to download files of movies that you already own? I've never been able to figure out how to copy from dvds to my computer...

No... Not to my knowledge but it still fuels the warez industry! ;)
If you're looking for a good program try Handbrake! Free for Windows, Mac, Ubuntu and Fedora! :happy3:
