S3 radios

I heard that the S3 has some update that allows its radio to have better reception. We had an S3, returned it, and bought Maxx. I am up in a few months and if the above is true, I would like to try the S3 again. Is there any truth to this update rivaling Motorola for radio quality in bad areas?

I have the update and would say that maybe my radios are slightly better. Nothing dramatic. I almost never had a 4g signal in my office at work, and now i see the 4g much more often. Could just be timing of when i look at it though. I used to watch it much more closely. I don't live in bad reception area though. My brother had the Razr and he thinks i have better radios. He never sees 4g here at work. But i don't know anything scientific to say that the radios are better.
