Rooting/OCing with Insurance Plan from Verizon? Help

I am curious if I root/OC my Droid that it will void my insurance plan with Verizon, is this true?
I like having my insurance plan if I drop or lose my phone but OCing the droid really looks like a good plan.

Anyone have any ideas on this subject? I would think that it would void it but I would love to hear that it wouldn't void my insurance.

Rooting your Droid voids the phone's warranty through Motorola and any problems that arise will not be covered under the insurance provided by Verizon.

If you fry the processor because you overclocked it, you shouldn't make Verizon pay for it. That's called insurance fraud.

just run it over with ur car a few times and tell them you dropped it on your drive way by accident and u ran over it with your truck ,thats what i did to my old centro lol when i fried it lol

Yeah voiding your insurance or warranty isn't even an issue..........its so easy to revert it back to normal, and if you fry it, you don't have to tell VZW the truth do you???
