rooting my moto droid with a mac?

=/ kinda what i dreaded. i needa find a trial copy of windows is what i'm getting from that. i guess i'll get to it eventually. and then it's only a 30 day trial so if i ever need to do it again i'm basically screwed. thanks for the link. i guess i'll do it the one time and deal with it a different way later on if i ever have to.

I have a mac book pro and found that the dual partition was the best option. Luckily I had a buddy that had an XP pc he was trashing and got the code from them. You could ask around. Good luck man, it's not easy for us mac guys...

I read that VM might cause issues so I actually partitoned my HD and run dual OS. It's a pain to switch back and forth sometimes but it's stable.

Don't use the virtual, actually partiton you HDD. It will work fine.
I have some other issues with my mac too. Some zip files I download on the mac side don't work. I use the mac side for research and the XP for actual downloads and installs.
