hello i need help rooting my droid x i had one rooted it busted on me got it replaced it has the official ota 2.2 on it i have a mac not a pc so the process that is on here is for a pc any one can help i would appreciate it a lot thank you all in advanced my email is [email protected] if u need to email me

Abe21599 pointed out this one to a user today, and it looks easier since you can do it without USB(Step 2 option A):
Multiple phones - Root them, unroot them

It is all on the phone root, via Astro File Manager, Android Terminal Emulator and the exploit files

That Droid 2 rooting method has worked for me. However it requires you to download the Android SDK and the 2.2 platform.
