After rooting my razr and spring the tethering hack my PC can't access certain sites ie.. yahoo, Facebook
Also I can't use the tethering to stream Netflix
any suggestions

If you are rooted you can use the app. Go to the page and download and install the .apk make sure on your phone under settings>applications that Unknown Sources is checked on. after that just click open the WI-FI tether app to turn it on. i would recommend that you go into settings and turn on Enable Wi-Fi encyption to set up a password so only you can access the data. Verizon wont charge you as long as they dont find out beause technically you are supposed to be paying them more money to use the data you already pay for again. I do not recommend you tether if you dont have an unlimited plan because it will use up a lot of data specially if you're on 4G.

Just tried it. Same problem. Doesn't work with his listed sites above. What you can do if your computer has bluetooth is try connecting through bluetooth. I have a Transformer Prime tablet and connected through bluetooth works fine. It works with all of the above sites.

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but just for clarification, the Android wireless tether app does indeed work if rooted, right ? I just upgraded from a D2G which lost wireless tether after the GB update. Hope I understand this correctly. PDAnet works fine, but losing the cord is way, way cooler !!

Thanks,

Pyzon

Your right but I always plug my phone in when I'm tethering anyways cause it kills so much battery
