4.1.2 (new OTA) issue: aShell no longer displays directories in root mode

Just wondering if anyone else can recreate the bug I'm having. My tethering hack still seems to be intact, but I wanted to double check after upgrading to the new OTA last night.

I open aShell, enable root, that goes fine... get the "granted superuser permissions"... but then it won't list the root directory. I only have the single parent folder icon. Turn off root, I can see directories but of course can't access them.

Tried removing/reinstalling/regranting permissions..

This concerns me if I need to get back in and make changes.

Can someone try to reproduce this?

I am in the same situation. I just updated from leak to ota, and ashell is blank in root mode only. I have been running in a ROM slot though, and had not activated the SQL modification on my unsafe side.

Did you find out how to get it to work?

I emailed the author, and he worked with me and sent me update APKs... the second attempt fixed it! It had something to do with changing the app to require the user to give r/w permission to external storage.

He's posted the update on the market. Go grab it!
