rooted phones

how do i get the google maps to update if my phone is rooted? it always fails! please help!:unsure:

You need to give us more info. What steps did you take? Did you just "root" or did you install a new ROM? If so, which one?

my friend figured it out and rooted it i had to buy set cpu and he overclocked it, he said somethin bout smokglass all i knw

Are you on 2.1 or 2.2? Go into setting>about and look for android version.

I had Map issues on 2.2 Jrummy Kangerade and this fixed it.
