Rooted phone. Can't bump charge?

So I've successfully rooted my phone. Installed clockwork recovery via Rom manager. And now I cant power my phone off and have power attached it automatically turns itself on into recovery mode? Any ideas to fix this?

I might be missing something... Why is it supposed to do that?

My DX would automatically go into the bootscreen when it would randomly reboot while I was sleeping. I was stung twice by this because my DX was supposed to be my alarm clock.

Imagine my chagrin when I woke up this morning, and what did I see looking back at me on my TB... the boot screen.

It did that to me last night. Woke up late to a boot recovery screen... This needs fixed. What could it be?
