Root on.629 update

I was just wodnering if there is any who is still working on finding a root exploit for this phone anymore? I understand the phone is 2 generations old now but the phone is still a great phone.

but with out a way to SBF, rooting isn't very safe
but some are working on it

I'm subscribed to most threads regarding this subject as well since I received this phone with .629 already installed.. sigh. Just more of the same really.. just gotta keep checking daily.

I'm one of those who didn't know any better.

So I just accepted the OTA update after I got the phone. Then decided to root it... I found out it's not possible with .629.

Oh well....

After seeing someone try this out and get positive results, I decided to give it a try myself and I now have a fully functional rooted D2G on 629.

I was excited to see this earlier this morning, but without any ROM development the only plus side is really just removing bloatwares. Still really positive sign for this phone.
