root?

just going to start a thread about root on the newest update for the droid 2 global 2.3.4/sys version- .629. i would like to know and have others find out also who are lazy or not members to this site when/ if there is a way found to root this new update to our phones.

There is no known way to root stock DROID X firmware v4.5.621 and DROID2 GLOBAL firmware v4.5.629.
This has been mentioned in numerous blog and forum posts.

not installing it until theres a way! .... what about root keeper?

Will only keep root for applications that had root on the previous firmware.

New applications won't be able to obtain root rights.
