One of the top Root apps of all time no longer needs root for one of its main functions! The latest update of Root Explorer (a file explorer with access to /system partition and the ability to read and write it with root) v3.3 adds the ability to write to your SDcard without root. This is only applicable for those of you who are currently running Android 5.0 Lollipop. This update takes advantage of the revised SDcard management in Android 5.0. There won't be many of you that can take advantage of this at this very moment since there aren't many devices with Lollipop and even fewer devices with Lollipop and an external card slot, but it is still worth keeping this in mind for when your device does finally receive the new version of Android!

It's good to see SDCard capabilities coming back without having to root. I see a lot of complaints about non-tinkering users not being able to write to their SDs.
