I have downloaded and am trying to install Shifter Base. Every time I try to flash I get the message: Signature Validation Failed. Did another download to a Mac - same result. Downloaded direct to the phone - no change.
Anyone have suggestions as to how I might get this done?
Thanks

I have to ask are you using bootstrap to go into clockwork recovery and not trying to use stock recovery?

Testing turned up a few bugs last night. One with Google Music and one in the UI of 2 TPaX. Working on them. :)

Using stock recovery. Is that the problem?

yes, you need to be bootstrapped in order to flash custom roms. it is a paid app, but is definitely worth it.

I'm still using the original bootstrap that was free, never got the official paid one. Any disadvantage to this?

You have less options once you're in Recovery. I think you cannot go into either the external or internal sd card

All the testing went well on the MR 2.5 Purity and 2.4 Shift3r. I will get the packages finished and drop them after work.

You can always flash recovery from rom manager. That's what I did. Im running current recovery without having to pay for bootstrapper.

It's up to you if you want to keep using the free version. I bought the official one b/c Koush does so much for this community that it was the least I could do.
