Rom jumping

I've been jumping back and fourth from apex to liberty. I've noticed some remnants of the previous rom on the new install. I make sure to wipe the data. Is this just something that happens, or is there something I'm doing wrong

It's best to SBF before installing a new ROM for this reason.

I'm not completely sure but I believe that flashing back to maderstkok340 will do almost the same as the sbf, and it easier for some. Thats what I do if my phone slows or gets to many bits and pieces of other roms left around.
