So wait, it's completely legal to tether using apps as long as it's a 4G phone and using 4G service? I thought it was against the ToS. Or is it technically against it, but the FCC told them otherwise and they just failed to correct/announce that?
they cannot throttle you on 4g
they can charge you to teather they just cant block 3rd party app that allows you to teather

Been running an older build of this as a daily driver for some time. Working perfectly except for camera (no flash, camcorder is low-res, and apps w/ camera functionality don't work).

Has there been any fixes to the camera as of late?

I normally don't use more than 1GB of data, even though I'm grandfathered into Unlimited. Sometimes I use less. For about 2 weeks I was using Foxfi, just to test about how much data I could use without Verizon sending me some sort of message or throttle me. I used 13GB in two hours (downloaded a game via Steam) and 17GB in total during November. I actually feel like I actually got what I paid for that month :p.

The most I used was 260gb in a month and never noticed any throttling or anything... nor any fees associated with that much data use...

Lol that's insane. I wish I had a way to use that much data without tethering, to see their reaction to it.

Its pretty funny when the specialists look at your data usage... I always hear a gasp... but my 4g is faster then my 18Mbs internet so I am always tethering...

jsnweitzel - Can you tell me what's still not working in your version of stock JB AOKP dated 12/19? I'm assuming camera flash is still a no go?

No camera flash (except for AF assist) and the screen rotation bug...installed this last night. Those are the two most notable.

This is a fantastic ROM and I’m really enjoying it. However, something that is giving me a lot of trouble is the ROM’s recognition of the internal SD card. For example, when I use an app that requires somewhere to write, like Camera, I get an error similar to ‘No external storage available’. This also prevents me from seeing any files when connecting to it via USB. However, File Manager lets me go through the files in sdcard0 just fine, it just doesn’t seem to be mounted.

How would I fix this? Do I have to format the internal SD card? This also doesn’t seem to be a problem related to this ROM alone: any Jelly Bean ROM that I’ve tried has the same problem. Rolling back to Eclipse 1.5.2 on ICS solves this problem, but I would like to keep this ROM.

Also, I'm quite new to Jellybean, and my google research isn't telling me if this is a problem with these early builds or is a problem that only affects me. Any help is appreciated!

Google+'s hangout feature uses the camera. When I try to use that, the video freezes, but the app doesn't force close. Do you have an external SD card? What happens when you try to take a screen shot?
