This ROM has had a name change from Unleashed 3.0 to Cobalt 1.0 because this is a new chapter for my ROM and I thought a new name should be put in place.

Thanks:

  • cvpcs for publicly posting his source.
  • slayher for his help over and over helping me compile a ROM straight from Google's source.
  • Speels and everyone else for their support when I started getting annoyed with this ROM.
Updates from alpha:

  • MANY new features
  • Audio is working from source, so you can use DSPManager now.
  • The phone will not reboot when you press the lock/unlock button.
  • Galaxy S like notification bar power settings.

  • Camcorder doesn't function (Camera does!)
  • Charge light doesn't function

Thanks to my good friend Rob for hosting the ROM.

NOTE 1: This ROM's development will be halted in favor of something else. You will see soon enough.
NOTE 2: Ignore GEM Notifications in the Cobalt Extras. I forgot to remove and I didn't notice it until the ROM was already uploaded. [/B]

Nice

I never tried Obsidian because of the gps bug, but i decided to try this. the rom is slick. lots of features and customizations. but damn, that gps still burns the deepest, i am an avid geocacher and i just don't think i can pull this for an everyday rom. i hope progress progresses with the pheonix devs, because all i need left is gps and this is everyday attire for sure. screw chefb, i've yet to try any of his roms... this is promising, probably a lot like obsidian but i just don't know...

really liking the fact that you put the galaxy s pulldown power control in this.. ill probably try it out soon if my battery doesn't go magnets

Loving this ROM! Thank you so much! Is there a black bar theme available?

Cool video. And I'm guessing after the bugs are fixed this will be one wicked ROM.

Looks to have so much potential and really does have some cool added features.

Nice job.

Market doesn't work, same error as obsidian. But I can change my keyboard now, so ill live :D

Yes it is. The cobalt-gapps was just my way of differentiating the difference between the upload I did without gapps and the one I did with gapps.

sorry for the double edit etc but the keyboard fix says dx->d2. does that mean us x owners dont need to flash it?

Thank you very much! Guess I missed that part ^^; but everything seems to work now. Thanks again!

Edit: huge issue: wifi doesn't really work well. I have issues turning it on and off
