Ring getting quiet after first ring at correct volume

Ok, I've heard of people having an issue with their ringtone getting louder after it first rings but I'm getting the opposite. It starts at the correct volume then gets quiet.

Can't find anything about this on the Web. Anyone know anything about this?

Sorry man. Mine works as you'd expect. I've got the Verizon variant.

What ringtone are you using, does this happen on all ringtones?
Did you install any apps that have anything to do with volume control like widgets, etc?

OK I was looking in the settings and under general-gestures there is the option that when you pickup the phone (motion) the ringtone volume decreases.
