returning my phone to verizon...

So I do about 6000-8000 texts a month, and I had a first gen Droid with the bubble keyboard, and I really beat the thing to death, to the point keys were falling off. Verizon has sent me a new phone, and I need to send mine back, should i unroot it and make it stock again for them, or does it not matter?

I would absolutely unroot and do a factory reset.

It would be a good idea to go back to stock, but even if you don't, you want to factory reset for sure. It really wouldn't take that long to go back to stock anyway, so you might as well take a few extra minutes with it.
