retrieveing contacts

I have a droid (whatever the original one is), well had, it was stolen today. no big deal as i have the incredible 2 coming tomorrow. ironic..

But I never used the gmail acct that was setup with the phone when i came to verizon. Is there anyway to retrieve my contacts or that email address? I never used it, i dont even know the email for sure. What i thought it was is not working, and the recovery emails that gmail displays are not mine..

is there anything i can do?

I think the only way you'll get your contacts back is if you can figure out that gmail acct.
