Repetitious Amber Alerts on Verizon S3

I am receiving repeated Amber Alerts that list the same three vehicles. The list of alerts in the Emergency Alerts app show these since February. Any ideas on what is going wrong? If these are repeat offenders, the effectiveness of having Amber Alerts seems questionable. If the system is making false alarms, that is just as problematic. I have turned off the Amber Alert notifications, as this is most annoying, and seemingly of no value.

I would lean towards saying there must be something wrong on the sending end. Do you know other people with different devices &/or carriers that can receive amber alerts? Might hell to compare & see what others are experiencing in your area.
