I've gotten a couple scratches/nicks on edges of the display casing. Is there a good way to repaint them? I've tried sharpies but they always wear off. Perhaps some black model paint with a thin brush?
I used testor high gloss black enamel model paint and applies it with a tooth pick. It looks good but it depends on the depth of the nick. The flat black didn't match well fyi.

I wonder how long it will be before someone removes all of the paint off of their Droid on purpose?!
It will eventually happen I bet. In my experience as a Palm Treo user for many years, surfing various Treo forums, eventually, someone would pop up every now and then with a painted body, customized textured Treo body, CLEAR Treo body!! (Clear by removing all of the silkscreened paint off of the clear OEM plastic phone shell.)
If my phone's paint ever gets really messed up, I might experiment.
Dropped my Droid on a Ceramic Tile Floor a little while ago. Luckily it landed on the front top right corner and made a nice little scratch/scrape. I had some Dupli-Color Universal Black (NG SF 100) 2 in 1 Scratch Touch Up. Used the built in bursh with very little paint on it. All is good. It matches very, very well.
BTW, this is one tough phone. I dropped it from chest high (I was trying to slip in my shirt pocket and it landed on what I think is the hardest floor on earth and it kept on ticking. This floor has successfully broken every other item dropped on it, except those made of steel, and now Droidite !!
