The red button that activates the camera just fell off my Droid X. I was removing the protective cover to check the battery and it fell off. I fnally managed to get it plugged back in. The camera seems to be working O.K. now. At first I could not get it to turn off!

I got the DX October 29th. I am not really interested in the camera function except for emergencies but I do want everything to work properly.

Has anyone experienced this problem. Should I take it back to the dealer. At this point I do not want a refurbushed DX.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Refurbs get a bad rep because nobody ever posts and says "My refurb arrived, been using it for a week and its perfectly." You only see complaints.

Use your warranty. Get another phone.
