Recycling your old Devices

Tomorrow, April 22 is Earth day. Be kind to your earth by recycling when possible.

Ran across the following article about recycling. It tells you where and how you can recycle your old devices. Noticed some places you can recycle for free just by printing a shipping label. Other places it costs. I figure maybe someone here can use the information. I am pretty sure most here have old devices and gadgets taking up space in closets, drawers, attics and garages.

Personally I usually donate my old devices to goodwill or some organization that is having a yard sale to raise funds. I find them in the paper. What do you do?

I keep 3 or 4 old phones around as spares at all times. I have 4 lines in my account. When it is time to get rid of them if Verizon is not offering a trade in then I donate them to battered women's shelters. I have sent many boxes of phones to them. It's free and helps someone in need.

the last phones I donated went to the local humane society.
