recovering deleted text messages?

is there a way to recover texts that you've deleted? thanks any help is much appreciated!

If you have them backed up by nandroid/titanium backup/backup tool/or a backup image

You can restore to the messages you had saved from that backup, by doing this you will lose anterograde messages
