Reading word docs

I know ppl suggest Doc2go which I installed. But can you dl rtf or docs and view them- say from an email?

I really want google to allow us to edit docs in google docs, but if you are looking to just veiw docs you can view them in google docs well on android.

Well I think I've used it on my pc but how do I. On my phone. If I have an rtf doc in my gmail how can I read it. I wish I could just long touch it.
