Read Ahead Value

Can someone tell me more about the read ahead value? What Read Ahead value works best with the Nexus? I'm really getting sick of downloading files when listening to music and having this "Oops, I just ran out of memory" screech in my ear. The music stops periodically and this dubsteppy like noise on full blast just destroys my ear.

That doesn't sound like a memory issue. What ate your cpu settings? Speed min and max and governor?

I'm on ondemand with 1350 max 1200 min. If I'm using ttorrent or just browsing sites, periodically the loud noise will happen. This has happened on the two Galaxy Nexus phones I've owned.

That's strange i haven't experienced that issue and i listen to music all the time, while doing other things. I'm set to 2048 on mine if that helps.

1350 Max and 350 min with no other changes to voltage or RAV, and I experience the same, but only when using any Torrenting app (using Rutracker Downloader myself). I haven't exactly looked to fix it, as I just assumed it was due to torrenting.
