? re Direct Dial Widget

Had to do a factory reset on my RAZR (original Razr). Running stock ICS. Had a direct dial widget on my home screen with my wife's picture and a small M in the bottom corner and phone icon in top corner. Now the icon says Mobile across the bottom after the reset. I had to add it back after the reset. So what's up with that? How do I get one with just a letter instead of a word? Perhaps I created it prior to the reset while using Apex launcher?? I cannot recall. I don't like the full word. It obscures too much of the picture.

Not Apex. Not Nova. Just tried both. Was my direct dial widget icon a remnant of Gingerbread? I cannot remember but I cannot seem to create one without text across the bottom of it now.

Looks like this. Used to just have an M.

I think it was a Gingerbread style direct dial shortcut icon. Cannot seem to recreate it now on ICS.
