Razr HD. How do I play videos.

I got the micro Hdmi cable, plugged it in to the phone and my tv. The tv tells me there is no signal coming through. Am I doing something wrong?

If your running JB 4.1.1 then go to Settings> Storage> click on (3 dot line) in the upper right corner of the screen> select USB computer connection> make sure Media device (MTP) is enabled and should be fine.
