I love the RMHD I got last year, but if I needed to replace it (stolen or damaged) I would have a hard choice to make. Would I go with the Droid MAXX or with the Moto X? Big battery or sexy wood back? Oh well, I guess I'll cross that bridge if I come to it. Until then I'll just enjoy the RMHD and wait on the Kit Kat update.

I'd love for Sony to release a flagship on Verizon, but that doesn't appear to be in the cards. With that being the case, I've got my eye on the successor to the G2 as well as the next iteration of the One.

Moto X. You could get a 16 Gig for 399. It also supports stickmount (or similar technology)
Add Moto X's storage with Meenov MicroSD Reader - xda-developers

Oh, and please add another option to the poll:
[ ] I am not looking at a new device for 2014

Reminder: Get an off-contract Moto X for $299 today at 3pm ET Reminder: Get an off-contract Moto X for $299 today at 3pm ET [update: it's over] | Android Central

Also for those who are interested in an off-contract Moto X who missed out on the $100 discount promotion, Motorola has discounted the full retail Moto price X $70 until Valentine's Day.

For the first time ever I have zero hankering for a new phone. Typically changed devices on the average of every 4 to 6 months until the Note 3.

(And I could have remained satisfied with the Note 2 except for the improvements in the S pen.)

So if I pick up a new phone in 2014, I expect it will be the latest Note.

I'll ride my retail paid LG G2 into the ground, the phone is fast, super powerful, and has excellent software and is built well. The only phone on the market I can personally say that for. 2016 is my best guess so long as I don't break it beyond repair, and if that happens I'll likely buy another one anyway.
