i just noticed some android apps that weren't there before. in apps> manage apps> filter> all, i see :

certificate installer
checkin serivce
com.android.bugreport
" ".providers.userdictionary??
com.google.android.feedback
" ".syncadapter
com.motorola.hiddenmenu

i dont remember installing or downloading any of those apps. are they part of an OS update? im trying to figure out my gmail sync issue (i know there is a problem but i had it working perfectly for a few days then the verizon data outtage happened and it stopped working again).

These apps all appear to be normal to me. If you're having sync issues it is probably the way you've got your mail set up in gmail on line. Are you email accounts forwarded to gmail? If not go to gmail on line and set them up so they forward to gmail. You'll click on the settings button then look at the tabs for the accounts and imports and then check your settings on forwarding and pop/imap to make sure they are configured correctly.
