Quick ? How to install an app that is Dl'ed to computer?

I downloaded an app to my desktop, Droid is hooked up, but I don't know where to install the app. File is an APK. It's swype btw

Mount your phone via the USB cable and copy the file to your SD card. Then, use Astro File Manager or a similar program on your phone to browse to the apk file. Click on it and it should ask you to install it. First, though, you need to go into the settings on your phone > Applications > check the box next to Unknown Sources.
