quick help to up date my os

I went back to my nonsafe mode and i got a notice to update my os....what do i do so i wont brick?

Just stay in non safe and delete "safe strapp" app?
Once i update, my nandroid backups of my aokp rom is useless right?

I am not familiar with the workings of SafeStrap but Guidot is very familiar. You may wish to PM him.

You don't have to update.

If you want to, you need to make sure that you haven't deleted any bloatware off the non-safe side. Uninstall recovery, in the safestrap app. Then uninstall safestrap app. Apply update. Re-root using D4 Root (motofail) and reinstall safestrap and install recovery.

There are other ways to do it but that is the way I would do it.

Thats exactly what i was thinkin to do...but last time i "was thinkin" i ended up bricked..lol..

I think so..my system version says 6.13.215...
And i think this update that my phone is trying to do is ics...could be wrong.

If your on (6.13.215) then the update is gonna update u to (6.13.219) which would still be Gingerbread. ICS isn't dropping yet, so right now all we got are the leaks...

Should be the final build of GB, all the minor bugs worked out and all the other good stuff..you'll hardly see the difference
