question regarding new software and root

Hello Droid lovers. My name is bulljos and I have a new Droid Pro running 2.2 rooted. I have a question regarding the install update that my phone is wanting me to do. I am afraid to do the install being rooted. Has anyone tried this? Thanks for any asistance!

hi...I don't believe the ota will let u do it since rooting. u may have to unroot then accept the ota update

Welcome! Depends on what all has been changed honestly. If you've deleted any bloatware, the install will fail. I believe a custom recovery will block it as well but am not 100% on that.
