[Q] GTAIII will not work

I can't seem to get GTAIII working. My Kernel should support it (Franco's kernel nightly #8). Other people run in on that kernel just fine. So why does it crash for me?
Reinstalled the app, deleted the data folder and everything. I've wiped cache and davlik, I'm not manually UVing.
I'm running Peter Alphonso's 1/2/2012 ROM, could that be the reason it's not running?

It definitely runs fine on stock. Based on what you've tried so far sounds like it might be rom related....
