Purple Chell

Hallo everyone! I'm Purple Chell and of course new to this forum. I just got my Droid X in mid July and decided to try and root it in December 2010. I wasn't successful however. I have the super user in the menu but it doesn't work. Any help, hints, tips or tricks from anyone would be appreciated. They don't have to apply to rooting, just anything useful, fun, interesting but no malware, adware, join circles please. :heart::greendroid:

welcome to the forum! in addition to the Droid Discussions section for all things Droid, we also have a separate section, with several subforums, devoted entirely to the DX. there are quite a few threads in the DX hacking subforum on rooting - try there first. if you still run into problems, don't hesitate to post in there - tons of people on here willing to help.
