Protect root from OTA Update

I got a notice of a new update download this morning for my Droid RAZR Maxx. I chose to postpone the update for 12 hours. Is there an app that will protect my root from being overwritten?

I found the app. It is Voodoo OTA. It works fine.

Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper is the one to use if you want to keep root. Download it, protect root, temp unroot, update, restore root.

Also there is a root exploit made for 4.1.2 called razrblade that works fine if something goes wrong during the process.
