Pros and cons

Everyone love this phone, why and why not?

How long have you had it?

What did you use before?

Is the volume control for ringer and notifications separate?

Thanks to all!

Had mine a week today and love this thing so much I've had sex with it twice. :D

The battery life is superb. I easily go 14 hours with a lot of 4G internet use and still have 40% left at the end of the day.

The radio is superb. Coming from a Thunderbolt, it is a night and day difference. Don't think I've dropped 4G yet where with my T-bolt, it was very spotty.

The camera is as good as most point and shoot digicams on the market and has gotta be the best on any cell phone.

The CPU and RAM are very nice and this thing runs butter smooth because of it.

The S-pen is just all kinds of cool and a lot of fun to play with. Don't know if I'll ever "need" it but I love playing with it.

I'm trying to think of some cons but can't really come up with anything. It's right there on the border of being too big but isn't if that makes any sense. Either way, once you've had a 5.5" screen it's hard to go back. Well there is the $300 price tag and a VERY limited selection of cases to choose from and the only holster makes the thing the size of a 1980's cell phone. But it so thin that it drops right in my front pocket with no problem.

So yeah, I love the Note 2 and think it's the best phone on the market easily.

Oh and yes, you can adjust the ringer and notification volume independently of each other.

Thank you, especially since I'm stuck with a Thunderbolt till March 18.

Are the volume settings for ringer and notifications separate. ICS just combined them on Tbolt.

Thanks again.

Yeah I just edited that. Yes you can adjust the ringer and notification volume independently of each other.

There's pretty much nothing about the Note 2 that I didn't like, it was simply too large for me as my daily driver phone. Otherwise I feel it's the best Android device out on the market right now.

Jntdroid hit it spot on.. If you can get over the size it's the best phone IMO.. No complaints here.. Does everything smoothly.. I will not go down in size after using it..:D

《Take Note2 BK's here..》

Completely agree with jnt & Bk ... this device is simply the best smartphone l have ever used (come from D1, Tbolt, Gnex, RAZR Maxx & RAZR Maxx HD).

Makin' my Notes ...

I LOVE this phone!!!! Yes there are different volume settings!
Ive had mine about a week now and havent put it down yet. I am more excited over this phone then any of the others I have had (and its a long list).

The only issue I could see someone having with it, is the size. Since I put a case on mine, which made it a bit bigger, its actually easier to hold on to and use.

I dont think anyone could go wrong with this phone!

Fabulous phone. I have had mine 3 months. The size is no issue, everything else seems small now. Never lost a call. I I don't use s pen much but it is fun to play with. I have no complaints so far.

Wow! Thank you, everyone one! There is one question I forgot to ask. Can you hook it up to your TV via an HD cable?

You can hook it up to HDMI, make sure you get the correct adapter, it takes the newer 11 pin and will not work on the older versions. I have the All share cast wireless and I prefer it.

The only issue I ever had with mine was the volume toggles and power button location. Volume toggles are WAY to sensitive, I downloaded an app that lets me lock the buttons, and the power button needs to be on top. I keep hitting it with my hand, all the time.

Thank you, Mookie!

I love my note 2 and I think it is the best phone out right now. But Samsung is going to announce the Samsung galaxy S4 in march. It may not be available until May for all of us in the states but it might be worth the wait. But if you do not want to wait that long the note 2 is a great phone. The only thing that could be a problem with this phone is the size of it. Outside of that the only phone that could really compete with it would be the DNA.
