Problems with rooting my droid bionic

I recently rooted my droid bionic and since then I've had a ton of problems. First whenever a phone call came in a podcast would kick in instead of my ringtones. Then my phone would always think it's in landscape view all the time and I couldn't get it to switch. So today I restored my system to factory to see if that would work, of course it didn't, and I rooted the phone again using motofail. Now my phone seems to play ringtones again, it's still in landscape. I would like to put the phone back to stock but unfortunately I didn't back my phone up before I started the root. I also thought about installing Ice Cream Sandwich thinking maybe it would overwrite anything that got corrupted which might have caused this. Any ideas what I should do?
