Problems with car dock.

I'm having problems with my car dock. The touch screen doesn't respond normally while in the dock. Answering calls is hit and miss, and entering and trying to open navigation is a joke. I am not rooted and am not running any non-market apps. I've found that if I open the keyboard while in the car mount it will respond normally. Anyone else having this problem?

Does it only act this way while plugged into the charger? Maybe you have a third party car charger that is the problem? Try it without the charger.

I'm using the motorola 120V wall charger plugged into an AC inverter. I will try it unplugged. Currently I have to take it out of the mount (still plugged in) to use the touch screen.
