Per Seidio tech support, the lack of the Virtual Keyboard in the car dock is by design.
That is such BS. Why would it work for some people and not for others? Mine worked fine for 5 months and all of a sudden stopped one day. There's NO way Seidio did this on purpose, especially if the on-screen keyboard works fine in the OEM Motorola car mount. Seidio has no business restricting the capability of the Droid like this anyway.
What if your car is parked or you're driving and your passenger wants to type in an address for navigation, for example?
This is a design flaw, period.
