Problem with wireless tether.. insanely slow speeds

so i got my phone rooted using z4 and installed wireless tether

only problem is my speeds are HORRIBLE

using pda net its much faster... cpet pda net wont let me onto secure pages

anyone know wtf is wrong?

Not sure what's wrong, but I recommend checking out the sticky in this section for the TBH 3G Mobile Hotspot app.

It allows you to use Verizon's hotspot app for free. I've had no problems with it.
