problem with NFL Mobile app

For some reason with all the ROMs I've tried with the Nexus the NFL Mobile app doesn't recognize the phone as a VZW device anymore and won't work. My Verizon doesn't work either. If I go back to my stock backup (still rooted just stock) everything works fine. Currently on CodeNameAndroid but happened with GummyJar and Liquid as well. Am I missing something here?

I'm running Android Revolution, but that's based off the stock kernel. I heard Axiom works with it now.

Is that where the problem is? At the kernel level?

Not 100%, but I believe so. There was a thread a couple days ago when it first starting working and the answer was somewhere in there I think. It's either the kernel version or the baseband version.
