NFL Mobile Updated, Now Works With the Galaxy Nexus

NFL junkies with the Galaxy Nexus have been dying to get their hands on a working NFL Mobile app from Verizon. We were initially expecting it to arrive back on December 22, but our sources told us that the date had been moved to around January 4. Sure enough, an update just popped up in the Android Market for NFL Mobile, bringing with it Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) support. We are already hearing from folks that it still doesn’t work, but remember that you also need the Verizon Login app to get signed into it.

If you still can’t get it working after installing both, then shame on Big Red. You may also want to uninstall the Login app and reinstall, then run it.

Although they said that it is Updated for ICS I still get this error:

Just redownloaded it and still doesn't work. Works for Android 4.0 huh? Thanks Verizon!

I think the only thing they updated was the description that is obviously false.

Yeah cuz who would want to see nfl games streaming on a nice 4.6 inch super amoled screen. Thanks vzw for ruining my dreams :frown:.

It's not even about streaming video. I just want to see some stat lines without having to open my browser and leaving espn open.
Redzone was fun to watch though, and that was on my Inc. I anticipated watching it on this huge nice screen, but was greatly disappointed when I found out it didn't work.

at this point does it even matter? will they stream the playoff games?
Who knows, but word is they'll be airing the superbowl on NFL Mobile. I'll personally be in front of a bigscreen, but for those who are occupied with other things that day I hope it works in time for them
