problem after installing update

Yesterday I installed an update on my Motorola Droid and ever since then the menu to shut the phone off keeps randomly popping up. Its very frusterating. Also. When I push the lock/power button on top of the phone it doesn't do anything.. help?!?!

Did you manually install or was it an ota?
If it was ota on a stock phone I would maybe take it to a Verizon corp store.

did you find a solution to this problem? My droid started doing the same things yesterday. It's driving me crazy!
