Power cycles when using google maps

Been having this problem for over a month now. My Droid Incredible constantly power cycles whenever I use Google Maps. Verizon is unable to determine the cause of the problem and keeps sending refurbs .... on my 5th phone now ... of the refurbs had bigger issues (faulty power button or faulty antenna -- no service). However, the other 3 power cycles with maps. Any ideas?? my issue has been escalated to HTC tier 2 support yesterday and I'm awaiting a call back.

My Droid has been doing the same thing but it's when I use other apps like Facebook, Words w/ friends, etc. But it only happens with apps that need a data signal to work. All of my non data apps work fine. It started soon after the gingerbread update.
