This simply proves that quadrant scores are complete BS because I'm running Liberty now and it runs much faster and smoother than squidly but scores way lower. I still like the idea of this thread though. Could be fun.

QFT. Quadrant is not the most reliable way to gauge ROM performance, due to the fact that stagefright automatically = higher score. All in the media decoding I believe, and stagefright does better than opencore on Quadrant. :icon_ banana:dancedroid

LOL no Squidly just has stagefright set to true

For fun I set my phone running Liberty 1.0 to stagefright = true using the toolbox

I then used the OCing tools to set my phone to 1.45ghz at low voltage

here is the result

Stagefright will help speed up video and muisc decoding for your phone..

Stagefright might cause some issues with sound quality with Pandora.. although I think this was fixed... it will also break video playback for 720p which is why it is turned off in Liberty.

Ah I see. I might go ahead and switch 'er on then because I rarely listen to Pandora and I never watch 720p video. Thanks for the info kejar

How are all you guys setting your overclock to 1350+ ? Every time I try and go above 1300 my phone still works but lags way bad. Is my Droid 2 a lemon or something ?

It's pretty much all dependent on your individual phone. Some phones like certain clock speeds/voltages a lot more than other phones. Mine happens to run completely stable at 1.45Ghz.

This is mine now with stagefright to false @ 1300mhz. What if I gave it a higher voltage will my phone be stable at 1450mhz u think?

So I thought it would be fun to see if I could get above 3000 and I did

this is with my phone OC'd to 1.484 at 83v

Stagefright on
