Possible to update?

Is it possible to update using MIUI, I haven't found under the settings to "check for update"...And has anyone tried it yet, if so did you lose root?

The "Check for update" button in settings that you are referring to is only found in stock OTA roms as far as I know. If you are using a custom rom, you wouldn't want to check for an OTA update because you would lose root. In order to keep MIUI up to date, just check the forums occasionally, and flash the update using Clockwork recovery (or whatever recovery you have.) Perhaps the devs will implement an update feature later on, but as for now, the forums are the place to go to see if miui has been updated. Also, miui gets updated weekly, so you can usually count on an update being released each weekend (give or take a day.)
