POS Verizon Backup Assistant Question

OK, onmy phone, I just gave up and manually put everything in.

On my wife's phone however, I used Verizons backup assistant. It did bring all the contacts in BUT there numbers are in the Moto Droid as notes.
For Example..

Jack Johnson
Notes 937-555-1212

There are no actual numbers stored as mobile, home, work, etc...

I did sync with Gmail and everything is in there ok just not on the phone.

Her old phone would require me to buy a cable to hookup a link to the comp to make a csv file.

Anyone know a way to get this corrected and brought in the right way? I am not paying Verizon 20 bucks for something so simple. I would go buy the 20 cable and do it myself before I did that. It's a matter of principle.

bump.

Anything? Any way to chance it from notes to actual contacts? I am not afraid to go back to square one and get it done. I'll just make a backup, do what I gotta do and make it happen.

I had this problem with my wifes' Ally yesterday and took it back to Verizon. The tech removed the Backup Assistant and reinstalled it. All of the contacts showed up but I still have the notes under each contact. Still trying to remove that. Hope this resolved your issue.
