Please Help Tethering & Camera Problem !

I have 2 problems on my D1 ; 1st is a tethering problem I have a rooted UD 3.01 ROM & running WinXP for some reason my phone won't tether its can plug in USB & it recongizes it & ask me if I want to share files etc but When I go to tether it says USB not connected? Even if I to put SD on PC & try to tether it gives appropriate response & says can't tether USB in use but when I simply try to tether w/out SD card in use of course it says USB not connected when it clearly is any ideas?

And also my Camera will not record on MMS, or Low ; it will record on high & YouTube settings just fine but not low or mms Please help
