please help before I pull my hair out

Every ten minutes I get a message with alert and icon in notification bar saying google talk authentication failed, then I select it and I get "google talk failed to login. If this is a google apps account, confirm that chat service is enabled for this account."

I have tried everything. I have removed google talk and that did not work. when I try opening google talk it immediately goes and tries to sign in and wont let me do anything else.

How do I fix this???

As it turns out whatever is causing this is also preventing me from downloading from the market.

Are you rooted/have you installed any ROMs lately? Also, sometimes signing out of your google acct via your PC and then signing back in via PC will correct login issues on your phone. Hope this helps.

I've been getting it all day as well..haven't figured anything out yet, everything else still works perfectly on my phone.
